My name is Michael John Serpe, I Started
Home Recorded Culture in 1994 after internships at both Sub Pop & C/Z records
as well as years of working in various
screen printing shops by day & at home recording by night.

I believe art & music is about creating
beauty & inspiring ideas & for me HRC has
been a good vehicle for doing just that.

Consisting of myself & a revolving cast of helping hands, HRC is not a label but an
artist & musician toolbox in helping artist present their work from within the vision
they hold.
